Our founding partners, Dustin Landry and Mario Azevedo, previously served as senior associates with well-respected law firms in the Knoxville area, and they possess over 20 years of combined experience in their respective areas of practice. Dedication to their clients and a desire to provide competent and compassionate services with the highest standards of professionalism were the motivating factors that led them to establish their own practice.

Mario Azevedo is a seasoned trial attorney and co-founder of Landry & Azevedo. Mario has conducted numerous trials in the various courts of Knox and surrounding counties at the state and federal level with a focus on family and criminal law. He is an active member of the state and local Bar and enjoys a reputation for professionalism among both judges and attorneys.
Mario is a proud graduate of Farragut High School, the University of Tennessee, and obtained his law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. Prior to launching Landry & Azevedo, Mario was an senior associate of The Adams Law Firm and the Lockridge Law Firm, where he centered his practice on divorce, child custody, juvenile, and criminal law.
When he isn’t working, Mario enjoys time with his wife, Erin, and their two kids, exercising, yoga, basketball, cooking, vinyl records, and UT Football.
PARTNER
Dustin Reed Landry is an active member of the Tennessee and local Bar and has practiced in Knox and surrounding counties for fifteen years. A co-founder of Landry & Azevedo, Dustin has vast courtroom experience across the courts of East Tennessee, both at the state and federal level, along with extensive experience handling legal transactions. Dustin’s practice areas include real estate (litigation and transactional), probate and estate administration, wills and powers of attorney, landlord-tenant law, and civil litigation.
Dustin graduated as valedictorian of Gatlinburg-Pittman High School and was a National Merit Scholarship recipient at the University of Tennessee. He holds both a Bachelor and Master of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Tennessee with a focus on American Government and International Relations. Dustin received his Juris Doctor degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2007, and while in law school had the opportunity to serve as an intern for the Honorable Thomas A. Varlan, Chief Judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee, and United States Senator, Lamar Alexander. Prior to opening Landry & Azevedo, Dustin was a senior associate attorney at The Adams Law Firm and associate attorney at Joyce, Meredith, Flitcroft and Normand in Oak Ridge. Dustin has also taught numerous courses as an adjunct faculty member in the Legal Studies program at South College in Knoxville.
When he is not practicing law, Dustin enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his sons’ football teams, playing any and all sports, cooking, fishing and working outside.
Senior Associate Attorney
Abigail has practiced law for more than ten (10) years with a large portion of her legal career being devoted to family law. Over the course of her legal career, she has successfully represented clients in contested divorce proceedings involving division of high-net-worth marital estates, alimony negotiations, establishment of child support, child custody arrangements, and dependency and neglect matters. Abigail also represents clients in a variety of post-divorce proceedings, including modifications of alimony, parenting plan modifications, parental relocations, and child support modifications. Abigail’s practice areas also include estate planning, probate and estate administration, general civil litigation, real estate (litigation and transactional), Orders of Protection, as well as conservatorships and guardianships. Abigail recently became a Rule 31 general civil and family law mediator. She is excited to work with other attorneys and their clients to assist them in successfully settling their matters out of court.
Originally from Danbury, Connecticut, Abigail graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor’s degree and went on to receive her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2012. Prior to joining Landry & Azevedo in early 2020, Abigail practiced law in Knoxville and the greater Nashville area, including Williamson County.
Abigail resides in Knoxville with her husband, Omar, and their two young children. When not at work, Abigail enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, being outside and experiencing all Knoxville has to offer.
Associate Attorney
Rebecca assists clients primarily in the areas of business law and real property law, both transactional and in litigation. She has represented clients in a variety of actions, including breach of contract, consumer protection claims, boundary line disputes, and quiet title actions. She has drafted a variety of contracts and other legal documents for small businesses, and assisted clients in forming LLCs, and helped small business owners understand their legal documents after thorough review. Rebecca also advises Homeowner’s Associations and Non-Profit Organizations from pre-formation through dissolution.
A Knoxville native from age two, Rebecca left Knoxville to attend Denison University in Granville, Ohio and graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Studio Art Minor. She returned to Knoxville and worked as a residential dorm parent at the Tennessee School for the Deaf for two years prior to pursuing her Juris Doctor from the University of Tennessee. Rebecca still resides in Knoxville with her husband, Jacob, and their dog Frank. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys hiking, baking, and learning new creative pursuits such as crochet and woodworking.
Practice Manager
Kaylor has been a vital part of Landry & Azevedo since opening in December of 2017. Over the years her role has expanded from handling the daily operational needs to maintaining the structure and organization of the firm. Kaylor attended The University of Tennessee where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management with a Minor in Marketing. When she isn’t working, you can find her with her husband, Sean, and their daughter, Harper. Kaylor enjoys outdoor walks, reading, traveling, trying new foods and the seasonal weather of her hometown, Knoxville!
